So many things running through my head
I can't sleep so I'm writing this instead.
I just ate a banana and drank some water
and now I'm texting my sweet daughter.
I can't sleep my brain is racing
Loosing sleep, there's no replacing
My eyes are heavy but my heart is light
This computer monitor is much too bright.
I think I'll turn in after I finish this here ditty
Some will think this odd others will think it quite witty.
Goodnight my fellow writers, it's off to bed once more
time to go to sleepyland where my brain can soar!
