Hi, guys—did you miss me?
Sorry. Work became overwhelming during tax time.
Then the tornados hit in Texas changing my sons’ lives forever.
Then I went to Nashville to meet Rose.
Decided to redecorate my house and am slowing finding my feel.
Realized I really need to get a job. Something that has not yet happened.
I went back to night school. I am nuts. But I did really well.
Oldest son moved back to Albuquerque and I helped out there.
Youngest son signed on for the next year in Las Vegas, NV and helped with that.
Complications in the pregnancy of my 4th grandson after losing the last one has kept me on eggshells and holding everyone close.
Am going back out to Vegas in a few weeks for his birth. Preston Isaiah. OK name, I guess. I’m going to call him Pumpkin.
The last couple of months have been kind of surrealistic. We lost so many loved ones in such a short period of time that the anniversaries of their deaths has brought the realization that sometimes shock does numb a person and I still have to address some grieving issues particularly involving my mother’s and my husband’s deaths and my writings will probably reflect some of that. But I’m doing fine and working through the messy stuff is a good thing.
So I’m back. I’ve missed you all. Can’t really play catch up for 4 months but will pick back up starting today.
