Sexual Promise, in it's original form was penned back in 2007. I published it with lulu.com and then pulled it. To me, it wasn't quite ready yet. I had feedback from others and I felt there was more to be written and changes to be made.
Voila! 2013 rolls in and a new and improved novel is born. To tell you the truth, I was awakened at 1:30 in the morning by my 2 year old son James and while comforting him back to sleep, the 'light bulb' idea came to me.
I love my characters and I know you will too. Who are they? Some of them have my attributes. Those who know me well, assume I am Quinn. Then they wonder who Declan is. Quinn is modeled after me somewhat. Declan is a variety of people I know and he is also someone I am getting to know as I write about him. Wouldn't that be something to come face to face with who I see in my mind?
You can definitely hear my own mother in my novel. Her nuggets of wisdom are scattered throughout.
