Just crazy things happening around my home! I Have Poltergeists!
That's it! I have been totally optomistic for the last four years that there are not really any spirits out here in my home.
But, My mind has been changed! The other night, My hubby stayed up with me (I was off from work) to watch a movie. The kids were in bed. My friend, Andy, who's living in our Den turned apartment, had already gone to bed.
Suddenly, the toilet closest to the living room flushed. I thought maybe one of the kids had gotten up and went to the bathroom. I looked in on them both, and no. They were both asleep. So, we went back to watching the movie. and it flushed again, Not once, but twice more.
Now, just that incident wouldn't have me saying anything. But now, it's pulling pranks. I hang my keys on a hook by the door. ALWAYS! Like clockwork, I keep them there BECAUSE I don't want to misplace them.
Alright. This morning, I went to get my keys and they weren't there. Not only were they not there, they were not in any other place where I would think to look. I had thought they might be laying on the desk. Nope. Not there.
Then AFTER I'd started tearing the house up trying to find them... I found half of them... As in ONE part of my keyring that are usually all hooked together (I have three connected together) on the desk I had just looked on.
The second piece was strategically placed (in plain view) on my kitchen cabinet. While I'm musing about what's going on. I find the third an final piece laying on top of my laptop keyboard. (The one I had just been on not ten minutes before...)
Okay, now I am not squeamish. I believe in ghosts, Of that I have always been certain, although I don't put much faith inthem getting quite this freaky!
BUT COME ON! My kids are in school. My hubby has gone to work. and Andy is still in bed. and last I checked, none of my pets had opposing thumbs!
