Wellll...Here We Go, Again!!
9/19/2008 10:43:35 AM

Whose Profiting from What??

Wellll....here we go again.

Let' see...

First, there was Daddy (V.P. to Reagan) who had the financial bail out of the Savings and Loan debaucle; son Neil was member of Board of Directors (who approves the BIG questionable loans made) at Colorado's Silverado Savings and Loan...at a cost of $1,000,000,000.00 to the taxpayers there, alone!
That's $1 BILLION, folks! At ONE Savings and Loan!

Now fast-forward to the present with Sonny Boy, Dubya, as
president. [Gulp!] His legacy is even more astounding:
$3 Trillion + cost for the war in Iraq. Add to that another
$3 Trillion+ for bailout to AIG and the banking system.
$3 Trillion - as in $3,000,000,000,000.00 plus
$3,000,000,000,000.00 = $6,000,000,000,000.00. WHAZZAT?

In one respect this doesn't surprise me: I've never listened
to those accusing the Democratic government of "spending...
spending...spending." Now the Devil is exposed.

Where are these bail-out $s coming from? Certainly not from the Big [Dis]Guize/guys that made multi-millions each off the economy of this administration!
Certainly not from the oil companies! Certainly not from those companies that made billions of the Iraqi war!

Is anyone else but me feeling we now have a government of "spending and taxation without representation"?

Lastly, I want to "thank" yuze guys who voted for a presidential candidate (in 2000 and 2004) who ran a business in WestTexas with borrowed money, would have had to file bankruptcy if not for a $16,000,000.00 loan from Saudi Arabia. Debt payback was via the two middle-East Gulf wars. But...I just don't appreciate you taking me
down with you.

Please, everyone, think deeply before you pull the voting-lever this November.

I'm off to have a cup o' hot tea...and praying for our country...
