This would be scary if there were more truths in the message. I'd received this e-mail a couple weeks ago and did some research, both on Govt. site and at snopes.com. The Snopes site is much easier to read, both the e-mail copy and the facts :o)
http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/seniordeath.asp The scary and sad part is to realize how many Seniors now go without treatment that would save and/or prolong their lives of productity (starting at 55 years). Many more Seniors than we know go without medical help.
The scariest and saddest part is to realize some "entity" going to extremes by beginning this alarmist, "scare tactic effort" of an e-mail! When you think about it, Hitler could have won his "conquering war" had the internet (e-mails) been around, what with his propaganda thugs.
At 76, and still mobile (however slowed :o) and still in my home, and taking care of my cats, birds, squirrels, the Obama as-proposed Health-Care Plan doesn't give me problems.
My opinion...with some facts researched. I realized, years back, that it's always best to check out controversial e-mails before forwarding on. True or False, we always learn something.
76???Sheesh, when did THAT happen?
