I was nervous but we pulled it off! 5/6/2009 1:22:07 PM
I had a great time on Lillian Cauldwell's internet radio show, Monday, May 4th... I was nervous because I'd never before experienced a live interview, but Lillian Cauldwell, (a fellow AuthorsDen member) being the professional host that she is, helped me along the first few stumbles and we turned out a good one.
As authors interested in promoting our work, we have to put on many hats, I've discovered, and being a speaker is one of them most difficult for me. I'm much better at expressing myself with the written word than speaking out to a group--seen or unseen. But it's good to push the envelope, urge yourself on over the personal hurdles you find along the way, and keep on learning. What a wonderful experience it was!
