Christ Independent Methodist Church will host a book signing this Sunday, March 9, in the fellowship hall. Newly published author, Gail Joseph Owen, a graduate of the University of Montevallo, will be here to sign her book "Tara and The Place of Irish Kings." This book is a memoir based on the journals and creative writings of Tara Sherron Owen, the daughter of the author. This young daughter was born with a life threatening non-curable disease. Still, she lived her life with raw courage disdaining to think of herself as any way other than normal. Although this book published by Owen is being printed following the death of her daughter, it is bittesweet in first person language using her daughter's own words.
Everyone is invited to come out and meet the author during the hours of two until four o'clock Sunday afternoon.... at 688 4516.
