I finally got the motivation and inspiration to illustrate my new children's book. The book is called, A Royal Tantrum. I already had the story written and edited. All that was left to be done were illustrations. I illustrated the book in about a week. I am pretty happy with the outcome. I am not offering it to the public until I get my proof copy and see how it looks all printed out! I again used lulu.com. I do like the site. I will also upload it on createspace.com which will make it available on amazon.com. I did this with my alphabet book and shapes book. Createspace is also a no up front cost self publishing website.
So I will post the link to the new book as soon as I approve the proof copy. Im excited to have another book out there with my name on it. Im not really selling the other two books but that is okay. I feel the books are a good concept and I am proud of the fact that I have followed through with an idea. It is also nice to share the book with my family and friends. I enjoy getting their feedback.
Something that is really great is that a coworker at my elementary school bought my shapes book and alphabet book. Earlier this week she called me into her classroom (she has a pre-kindergarten class)to show me how her students created the lowercase A. It is so awesome to see other students having fun creating the letters from my book! :)
