OFF TO COVER DESIGN 5/6/2008 10:09:54 AM
Well, it's finally time to enter the cover design phase for my book, THE KILLING HAND! All of the mistakes have been taken care of in editing, so now the book is ready for for its cover! I am so excited; I can't wait to see what Publish America will cook up for my book.
I know that many on the internet have bashed PA for being a vanity publisher or a scam, but as far as I'm concerned they have been nothing but great. They've honored my contract to the tee. Everything they promised, they've delivered. What more could a first time author ask for? Sure, I have to do my own promotion, but what new author doesn't? If your not some celebrity or proven author already, it's likely you'll be doing some foot work in the promotion of your own book also. So, my hat goes off to Publish America. Thanks for taking a chance on a unproven author.
On a unrelated not, my heart goes out to the people of Myanmar. They say the death toll has reached 22,000. I can only imagine what they're going through right now. I live in Detroit, MI., so we don't have to worry about cyclones or hurricanes. This has to be one of the biggest tragedys since Katrina. What a shame.
Well, until my release date, I will forever be...
