Tomorrow, the girls will be let out of school for the summer. They are so precious before they get to school age. Then, the influence of 22 children and one bossy stranger (uh, they aren't supposed to talk to strangers) well, it just transforms them into little tyrants. I made note of that occurrence first with my son and now with my daughters. I swear to God, these school people have trashed our home with note after note from school, piles and piles of paper work from their daily tasks, other children's illnesses and nasty rude behaviors, etc. I'm keeping the art and the rest will land in the garbage.
I'm hoping we make that trip to California, get away from our own mess and make a mess somewhere else. Summer's down side -- here at home, we'll all be fighting over use of the computer, probably every day.
