So we all(family) got together to fly kites this afternoon after all. My poor husband chased messes and climbed a tree and finally gave up untangling two of the kites, while I kept the baby's turtle afloat for quite some time. It was great fun. Cool breezes, warm air -- It turned out to be a decent birthday present for my oldest daughter, so long as they all had their own kite.
