My plans for publishing my books. Well, I have made up my mind. First of all, I have another blog at blogspot, but I think I'll just switch over to writing in this one.
I have decided that I am going to publish my own books and sell them from my author site. I have a software program that offers the digital age reader a real page turning book to read from anywhere on any form of digital communication that they can download them to, so I'm going to start using it to publish my own books digitally. If I start to do well with one of them, then perhaps I will self publish it, or send it off to a publisher complete with sales results.
The way the publishing industry is changing now, due to the failing economy, I feel it will be quite a while before it picks up again, and when it does, it will have changed dramatically. I think I'll try to jump ahead of the game by publishing my own works for a while. Besides, I'll be saving many, many trees!
If anyone reading this is interested, after I get one of them up on my site, feel free to read the first few pages or so, because the software completely protects the author's rights, and you can allow readers to read so much before they have to buy it, just like in a real bookstore. Plus, you can cut the overall retail cost because you cut out the middle men. If I start a publishing company, this is the way I will do it, for certain! Eco friendly publishing!
