Because I have decided to let you inside my mind, giving the world this sort of strip tease, opening up and placing my inner most personal views on display for all to see. Now I find myself caught out there at the crossroads bearing a cross that's not mine. Because it's my way to express my feelings with words and deciding that those words should be placed out there for everyone to see; the vision of me should somehow seem crystal clear. For thinking that I needed to keep my entries to myself just to avoid judgment seems a little selfish but real. We as beings can be very judgmental and don't always respect the art of expression. Everything is not for everybody that's not the way of the world. As a mixed up culture, filled with much variety, why shouldn't expression be the same way? Not to mention just because I write something down doesn't mean that is my personal experiences or views; but in fact called the art of interpretation and looking through the eyes of another and putting it out there for the next person in the same position to see. Believing that as a people we are not alone in our convictions, but in fact somehow at some time we all come together to be the same. Erasing color, and unedifying gender, and deleting age, we have the same issues, the same loves, the same hates, the same wants, the same needs. So I feel unlocked and with an open mind I see through to the other side of literary freedom giving me strength to be different and free.
