Live each day...each moment...though it were your last day on earth. Keep in mind: "I want to be remembered with admiration for those I love...if I should never see them again....that they shall KNOW I truly cherished them" Suddenly, I open my eyes and wonder about all the wonderful people that I share life with...all the people that I've encountered along the way.... Feeling a burst of excitement, I desire to leave behind a lagacy of love! Oh, yes, indeed! I shall give a gift of love with inspiration in times of need, encouragement in times of distress, and most of all...the truth.
In the middle of a forest, there was a Rose that grew among a garden of vegetation and trees. All the animals who dwelled there admired this tiny magnificent ROSE. One day, a HUMAN came along and noticed this awe-inspiring ROSE, and bent over to see it a bit closer. The HUMAN noticed a few flaws in this pretty little ROSE, and decided not to pick it from the ground. Instead, the HUMAN gathered a handful of flowers nearby and walked away.
The ROSE lived through each season and began to wilt while a bunch of other roses began to grow around the ROSE. They grew in great numbers, in a vaiety of colors, sizes, and shapes. Oh, how beautiful and extraordinary they were! The tiny ROSE bent over into the bunch and slowly disappeared into the earth. The legacy of the ROSE now appears to live among the beauty and diversity of the other ROSES. The animals still admire and protect them. The HUMANS still see their flaws beyond their beauty.
