How a woman can avoid many problems before she marries. 1/8/2009 5:04:46 PM
This article is a summary of the things that women do wrong when looking for a husband, and what she can do to avoid making the same mistake over and over again. 1. Don't believe everything a man tells you. Especially if you have only been dating less than 1 month. Get to know him over a period of at least 6 months - 1 year.
2. Don't think that because a man goes to church, he is going to be a wonderful husband. You have to explore his ideas and day to day practices.
3. Don't offer to pay for anything when you go on a date. The only way to make sure he can support you and a family is to find out if he can pay for the date.
4. Don't believe a man if he says he doesn't drink alcohol. Ask his friends and family.
5. Don't believe a man if he says you will not get pregnant. If you engage in sexual intercourse, even with protection, there is always a chance.
6. Don't date a man who already has children if you do not like children. Even if you do like children, his children will certainly try to run you off.
7. Don't believe a man who slaps you during the dating process and he tells you that he would never do it again. This is a RED flag. He will do it again after marriage.
8. Don't assume that just because he lives in a nice house that he has a lot of money. He may be 2-3 months behind in his house payments.
9. Don't cash in your savings to get the marriage on a firm foundation, after you marry. If he is in dire straits when you meet him, you will be after the marriage.
10.Don't marry a man from a different faith than yourself. You already have two strikes against you. It will only go downhill from there.
