Careful what you vote for

Eliminating mortgages interest for the wealthy (?) and eliminating charitable deductions is socially, morally, and economically irresponsible...
It is always interesting to hear arguments about politics, finger pointing as to who is at fault. The only finger they really have not pointed to yet is their own (and I mean all of them). Tax the rich, raise corporate taxes, and eliminate loopholes for the rich and companies. Blah, blah, blah. Well if you think about raising taxes on the rich in the latest proposal-if you make over 250,000 year you will lose your mortgage deduction-think about that stimulus. You will lose your taxable (socially, morally, & economically irresponsible) contribution to charity! I guess the people on welfare will make those contributions? That should completely crush charities that take care of things the government can't afford to do let alone get rid of millions of jobs and support to save 318 billion that they now have allocated 7% over the regular appropriated levels-real stimulus. Even fellow Democrats are objecting to these preposterous notions. These rich people they are talking (of course they don't include themselves) pay 80% of all taxes, so by all means let's make it 100%. 92% of America still pays their mortgage on time, so I guess we need to suffer and pay for the 8% who don't? 800 billion is 1.7 trillion with interest, they keep bailing out banks because they say they are to big to fail-what they don't seem to see is they are failing main street by using our taxpayers dollars and in return we getX!*&(^$#2+!! and thrown out of our houses or are jobs are gone. The workingman (I’m waiting for that workingman to hire me for my next job), don't get me wrong, we need jobs filled at all different skill levels, but the reality is the risk taker and those nasty evil corporations and individuals making over 25,000 a year are generally the ones giving the "workingman" their jobs, and health care. Well I’m self-employed and have paid my dues over the years taking risk, spending money, hiring people, that incentive is going away. For every stimulus pork package they enact-it costs somebody their job or health care. Nobody seems to understand the cost of socialized health care, or making it mandatory for small business to provide it. They confuse tax credits with cash flow. We all want our citizens to have coverage, but most states already offer assistance with this and for their children-just ask. Stimulus is not granting 200 billion+++ for Medicaid and other social programs-it has nothing to do with stimulus or job creation, just another tax burden we must all bear. When the speaker of the house makes statements of such arrogance: We don't care what you think, we won the election so we trump you-so much for bi-partisan relationships, more like perverted partisanship. I'm all for programs that really help people-just not the abuse that goes on. My eight year old was watching Obama speak and talking about all these programs, she turned and asked me how was going to pay for all this...I said honey, he is not-you are.
