I love 'em all, but why don't they listen? After beginnng a Bible study,I thought back on the years of reading so-called christian literature(novels) while bypassing the Holy bible. the charactures in the novels that I had been reading about in the different genres were angels or dyed in the wool sinners. They were not humans with human failings that prayed and asked forgiveness.Many of the mainstream novels that I read had no mention of of God or his Son. In the so-called Christian Novels it was as if all human emotions couldn't be published along with God and christianity inthe same book.
This revelaton came months ago, after I had marked all human qualities out of my leading characters makeup, to submit to the so called Christian publishing houses.After a sleepless night I am up at three in the morning restoring my good man and giving him back his human failings.
I fully realize that most publishing houses want no male character to struggle with Christian seeking along with his sinners leanings, and no christian or inspirational publishers want to publish a real human story.
I will continue to try with publishers and agents to recognizze Beyond The Hearts leading character. Virgil Brooks is not a bad man or an angelic being, he is only human. What say you?
