My Big Boy, Pride, Will Be 5 Years Old Soon 3/2/2009 10:15:10 AM
Oh, how time really flies!!!
It just seems like yesterday that we have
received this little package of gift
in a tiny little box -
When opened...
All you could see were two littlest eyes
on the tiniest little face looking up at you...
And then out popped that
tiniest little fur ball of energy
dashing here, and there, and everywhere.
At night time he made his choice
and chose to sleep with me and my hubby
so then we had become his parents.
We bought him a litter box,
but seeme like he was in a large sandfield.
He was so small in compared to the box!!!
Then this tiny little fur ball grew, and grew,
and now it grows into a 21 lbs. frame,
but he would always regard me and my hubby
as his mommy and daddy.
Although he is now a big cat, but he gives us
the tiniest little sweet m-e-o-w
whenever he needs something.
And you just can't help but to wonder:
How can a big kitty meow such a sweet tone?
And you just can't help but to love him.
You would give him back rubs whenever he demands it,
and you would hold him on your lap,
even though he's too big to fit there.
And whenever you sit there with him on your lap
you won't even be able to watch TV properly, because
he's so bulky, and he's as tall as your eye-brow!
And most of all - you've got to rub his back,
and scratch it too while he's sitting there.
Like a king, you've got to serve him right.
Pride just love to be the King in this house...
but ahhhh!...You just wait 'til the two little ladies
who would come around and take his place
and steal his crown!!!
The two little kitties
from my daughter are grown now,
and they aren't little kitties anymore.
They are now grown little ladies with attitudes.
They would give Pride the hiss and the growls
and sometimes a smack on his cheek
whenever they find him in the way.
But Pride is a generous guy,
he only bluffs you by his strong appearance,
but inside of him he's the gentlest pussy cat.
He would let the two little ladies have their ways.
Pride is also a scaredy cat.
The first time he saw my hubby with the
shaving cream on his face,
Pride's tale puffed out to its fattest!
We all had a good laugh at that!!!
My big boy Pride will be 5 years-old on March 5,
we will have a nice little birthday party for him.
For he deserves to be treated royally - like a King!!!

P.S. I don't know why in the blogs section the pictures I post would come in as doubles. I think it is one of authorsden's glitches, they have not be able to fix this yet.
