The second book in The City of Gardens Collection will meet its dealine on October 19th, 2009. It will then go to the editor. I am hoping for a March release. This week will be dedicated to trying to obtain as many interviews as possible. There has been another extension to the project. It has now become a ten book series with two down and eight to go. 2018 will be the final year of the city's plan to house and support 1,550 homeless people.
The book itself is amazing. Most of it is interviews are from various people in diverse situations. Feedback from last year's book showed that the interviews was the more interesting part of the book. Numbers and figures seemed to be boring and not effective in bringing out awareness.
The Invisible Society has many personal stories which are very interesting. I put an ad in the local newspaper to see if I can attract people who are willing to share their stories or explain their opinions. I need about eight to ten interviews to conclude the best book I have ever written.
Everything is going according to plan. I will then switch gears for awhile and work on the Bipolar Babe Project. www.bipolarbabe.com . I will spend some time working with Andrea, but will be very busy with the 3rd book in the series. City of Gardens: Victoria's Dirty Little Secret is the 2009-2010 edition.
It seems that there will be an endless supply of information for this ten book series. Unforunately, my days will be numbered if I ever reach that age. If I do complete the entire series, I probably wouldn't have much time to enjoy it.
That doesn't matter anyway. The book series is not for me, but those in need. I don't have very much to offer my friends on the street but my time. I hope for this book series to become their legacy, not mine. I was put on this earth for a reason, I will do that and move on to bigger things. I will do what I have to do and that will be that.
My friends deserve better than that and I ask that you open your hearts.
