'City of Gardens: The Other Side of the Fence' has been nominated by Allbooks Review for the 2010 Editor's Choice. This is a great honour to be nominated. I am very proud of 'The City of Gardens Collection'. The nomination for Editors Choice came as a big surprise. I am very pleased that someone has taken notice of my work.
The nomination is very nice, but the message is far more important than that. The mentally ill, addicted and homeless now have a voice. This is something important to be recognized.
The next book is finished and is at the editor's right now. It should be ready for the publisher in the next week or two. The third book is under way and is a work of thunder.
'The Other Side of the Fence' is the premiere edition of a ten year case study of Victoria, BC, Canada. The nomination is certainly one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. I cannot forget my editor, Angela Aidoo Djorgee who made the book to become some of my best work ever. I owe her a debt of gratitude and thanks.
This is a very interesting project for the general public have a completely different attitude towards these people than I do. That's ok, I love a good challenge. This negative attitude towards the mentally ill,addicted and homeless has no vadility. They are no more fearful than looking at yourself in the mirror.
