Back in the Saddle 2/3/2010 11:20:08 AM
Well, back in the saddle. I have been a little distracted (actually a lot distracted) because my wife has been in the hospital with pneumonia this last week. She is home now and in a week or two things should be back to normal.
February has started slow with no new sales of the books. Oh well, I will keep on plugging and let nature (and the economy) take its course. I will hopefully finish up my current project soon. I am going to publish my father-in-laws autobiographical remembrances as a country Doctor in the south in the 50's - 90's, 47 years as a GP in small Georgia, West Virginia and Alabama locations.
Some of his stories are a real hoot, others are sad and some make you mad, all-in-all a wonderful read. I am waiting on some pictures of some of his artwork to help illustrate some of the chapters. He is also a painter. Unfortunately it will be his only writing work as he is 86 and has Alzheimers. I hope to get the book published before he gets to far along to appreciate it. Any money made will be split between my In-laws and Alzheimer research.
