Magic Moments... 6/23/2010 4:47:07 PM
Light so bright that I have to close my eyes for fear of being blinded. In this brightness I hear the earth rock with a thundering sound and I find my hands pulled together and held very tightly by very strong hands. Suddenly I am spinning. The hands swing me round in a circle and like a child I cheer as the wind rushes in my face and I sail through the air cutting through it like a knife through butter. This continues for a while and then I hear myself mutter words of appreciation under my breath as tears of joy escape from the depths of my inner parts. Finally like the end of a high octane roller coaster ride my simple moment of magic comes to an end.
God is truly amazing. He never stops to amaze me by his miracles. Who am I to have received this kind of blessing? My faith is always rewarded as I hand over the reigns of my existence into his powerful arms and I am never scared of death. In the fear of the light and the noise of the world I swing in the arms of the Lord screaming with joy from my heart like a child. I have done this many times for my nephew and had never stopped being amazed at why he always asked me to do it again. As a child he knew that I would never let go of his hands and gave me the power and trust as I swung him round in loops listening to him scream and laugh in delight. Today I am the child and God the father giving me the same treatment and like my nephew I feel the urge to say the same: “Do it again.”
