NaNoWriMo Day 22: 43022 Words

I am heading into Thanksgiving week ahead of last year ...
Last year, it took a plane trip, a late night and early morning in a hotel room to cross the finish line. I woke up early on Thanksgiving morning inspired and sat at my laptop typing in the almost dark of the room until my husband's alarm went off.

While he showered and shaved, I typed away and crossed the finish line. I think I had to write something like 12,000 words in three days last year to cross the deadline and still enjoy family over the holiday.

I am relieved that I only have 7000 left this year. If I can hit 45,000 tomorrow, then I am home free.
