Within the colorful interior of Viking Treasures, the store owner and I had lively conversations. I spent two afternoons in the store. June had read my book; I was surprised (and pleased) to learn that her husband had read it also! We had discussions about women's health and our personal experiences. It seems that every woman has an indelible memory of her birth experiences.
I enjoyed chatting with the customers that came in--admittedly it was slow. We sold a few books, and I made a new friend.
Writing the book, working through the publishing process and now marketing . . . I am doing things I never imagined. I am stepping out of my comfort zone and experiencing new adventures.
