Moneysaver Editing was born approximately 3 years ago when I realized that I would be retiring from my current job(corrections counselor) within a few years. I realized that I had been reading all my life, one word at a time. I knew that I had the ability to understand what I read and to express myself well via the written word. I am an extremely detail oriented, driven and honest(I think) person. That being said...
My editing business plan...
First and foremost, I won't let you down. My work with you will be done only when you feel satisfied with what we have accomplished. I said we, not me. You and I, hopefully, will become a writing team, working together to help each other.
I promise you that I will not change or alter anything you have painstakingly written, without asking you first. You wrote it, not me.
I do not charge by the word, I charge by the hour. I use voice recognition software to speed up the process and save you money. This way, if you're a good writer, you will benefit by saving money.
I am an all-around editor, from the proofread stage to your final edit . we will come up with a payment plan together. I will edit your manuscript once. You will pay me in full and then I will do a final edit, usually for free. This plan is not set in stone; it may vary from manuscript to manuscript based on certain factors.
