eBook publishing offer. I've written a Young Adult fantasy novel, and I've finally got a bite from a publisher. This is a small press that does only Young Adult novels and publishes in eBook and Print On Demand. I've kind of been down that road before with my Denlinger's novels, but that was a decade ago, before Kindle, iPads, Nooks and iPhones. It was before Facebook, Twitter and blogging. My dream is still to publish a novel with a big press that will put a blurb about me in Publisher's Weekly. To see my books in the windows of the local book store. To be a featured author at some writer's conference somewhere. I think publishing with only eBook and print on demand will not lead me to that goal. On the other hand, it is publishing. People will get to buy it and read it. Perhaps the big dream can be for one of my other novels. I'm still mulling it over, but I think I may go for it. I'll keep you posted.
