Why Can’t we Just Love One Another? 8/1/2013 6:58:47 AM
There has been a great cloud of discontent in American skies, inciting more racist remarks and behavior which is destroying America. America has come too far to question equality and fairness for its citizens. The climate of hate in America has to change. Never have I seen in my sixty years so many people wanting to harm one another over political and religious views. And incite the discontent in America is the constant fighting of political parties on what is best for America. I understand to ask politicians to love the people they are representing is a tad too much, maybe sentimental, however, I am not asking them to be sentimental I want them to care. Now that the sequester has started, no one has devise any compromise that not keep saving jobs, but also creating them. The republicans seem to forget the past election, wow, do they have short memories. Politicians need to love their constituents as they love their families, and you would see comprehensive bills passing that actually help poor Americans. The almighty dollar has taken over, politics has eroded the commonsense approach to solving problems, and love is the only thing that will change such deteriorated political debates.
