HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE 11/19/2013 7:27:54 AM
Whether we want to realize it or not, we all have choices to make and options that lie before us, even when we do not think so or know so. Happiness is a choice and we have a right to choose it and walk in the goodness of it. HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE - WE ALL HAVE OPTIONS
How are you feeling today? Are you happy? Are you sad? Are you stressed out, worked up, bubbling inside with frustrations and confusion; overwhelmed; overworked and underpaid? Whatever you are and whatever state you have found yourself in, let me tell you that you don’t have to live in that state of being. Though we may not believe it, “Happiness is a choice.” You may not be responsible for the happiness of others, but you are responsible for your own happiness. You are responsible for playing your role in how each and everyday of your life plays out. No, you can’t change what may happen in this day, but you do have control in how you react to what happens, nonetheless.
Whatever state of being you desire to live and exist in, you must be willing to do your part to achieve that state of being. If peace is what you want in your life, then peace is what you must be willing to seek out with your whole heart, at all times, no matter what. Will you have your moments of weakness? Yes, you will but if you will not live in that moment, you will succeed beyond that moment to higher heights. If joy is what you seek, then you will have to strive to keep a positive attitude. You must wake up with a praise in your mouth and God on your mind; then, you must be willing to stay in that place no matter what. When the enemy comes to remind you of what is wrong in your life, you must remind him of what is right in your life according to the word of God, not according to you or the world. Practice does not make perfect, but it certainly excels in leaps and bounds.
When you wake up in the morning, see your day successful; see your day happy; filled with the goodness of God overflowing in your favor. Pray and praise God early before anyone has a chance to rob you of His presence; before they can deplete you of your funds prior to your deposit. If you don’t get filled up with God, you will be filled up with whatever else might come your way. The bible says pray without ceasing because it helps you to keep a positive attitude despite your circumstances; it helps you to remain at peace when the enemy comes to try to rob you of your joy.
“If you are distracted by the word of God, you have no time for the distraction of the enemy or man.” Too Deep
Every promise that has been made in the bible must be fulfilled God is not a man that He should lie. Every prophecy that has been spoken over your life, that you received, must be fulfilled. We must be willing to fight for what we say that we love and long to have so greatly. Happiness is one of those things along with peace, joy, faith, hope, strength, courage and a host of many others. The enemy comes to rob, steal, kill and destroy period. He wants to rob you of your joy; your happiness; your faith; your courage; your peace daily. He wants you to be angry, frustrated, disgusted, pissed with the world because, when you are all those things, you are at your weakest point and he is able to have his way. He is able to manipulate your mind; your thoughts; your words; your emotions. He becomes the puppet master and we become the puppets if we continue to walk, run, exist, live in a state that we know is no good for us.
We can not live in yesterday’s miseries or troubles, YESTERDAY IS GONE. We can not stress over todays problems or worries, GOD ALREADY PRE-ORDAINED IT TO WORK IN YOUR FAVOR, just believe. We can not fret over tomorrow’s concerns, TOMORROW IS NOT PROMISED TO US. We can however, walk in the goodness of God today and let both tomorrow and yesterday have their place.

Father God in the MIghty Name of Jesus, we thank You for being God. We thank You for blessing us; keeping us; guiding us when we had no way. We thank You for loving us enough to save our souls; to bless our lives. We thank You for sending Your only begotten Son to die upon the cross so that we might have life and salvation. We ask that You will help us to get past ourselves. Help us to see ourselves and the world as You see us, not as we see ourselves. Strengthen our minds and hearts to do what is right in Your sight and not our own or the worlds, break every chain. Help us to seek out the fruits of the spirit with our whole hearts. Help us to love one another as Christ loves the Church. Help us to seek Your face and to obey Your will. Go before us this day and bless our every step; our every walk; our every word. Save us from ourselves and the enemy too. We thank You in advance for every good, great, awesome thing that You have done or will do. We bless Your name in Jesus Holy and Righteous Name, we do humbly pray, Amen!
