My newest writing, which is still in the first/early draft (subject to radical alteration) is a bit of a mash up. Maybe I've overplayed my hand here but it certainly contains elements of all of the above.
The working title for it is The Winter Rose and it will contain two 'books' within it. One 'book' will focus on the modern day story and the other will focus on the past - specifically the time around the Henry V foray into France for the French Campaign.
Then, at the end there will be a bringing together of the two stories and a completion of the mystery.
At this early stage I'm not sure which book will come first; that's still to be planned out.
I'm really enjoying this. I've got my notebook packed with story line ideas and things to do. Then I have reams of printed material for my research notes.
How I fit in the supernatural romance time travelling bit with a murder mystery you shall have to wait and find out!
