This piece takes a hard look at (because it's hard to look at) ugly people. The forthcoming bit of stupidity (not to be confused with my current post there which meets the same requirements) is another less than promising example of what can be found on my blog. http://kitkingdomwhatsinaname.com
In this post I shall shine a dim light on the beautifulness vs. ugliness debate.
This bit of fun (as with every other one under my thumb) falls into my insult everyone so that no one feels left out series. If you don’t find this post insulting to you or insulting enough for you check back in next week.
Everyone is beautiful, and so are you! - is what some people would have you to believe; however, fear not, I can assure you that it just isn’t true!! When a blind man cuts off his fingers after feeling your face, the one thing that no one should ever be allowed to accuse you of is being beautiful, and I have too much respect for you to EVER stoop that low!
While it is true that body image is important, it is also true that only truly ugly people truly believe that everyone is beautiful, so all you - the polite thing to say would be slightly less then good looking, so I’ll say EXTREMELY REPULSIVE - folks out there (you know who you are so don’t pretend that you don’t) get over yourself and under my bus!
P.S. – Don’t forget to enjoy the ride and the splendid view. Be sure to try our world famous asphalt sandwich, which comes with a side order of gravel.
Before I continue onwards; I’m going to need to explain something to all you liberal minded folks out there who preach that only when everyone wins does anyone win and other pieces of pure fantasy which have absolutely nothing to do with real life. I’ll try to do so like you’re wee children, and I really hope that I’m not giving you way too much credit here. Don’t talk to me about what’s on the inside of ugly people because that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic of discussion!
Who really believes that internal organs are beautiful anyway, beyond doctors of the living who see them as though they’re stamped with dollar signs, and doctors of the dead who undoubtedly see them as objects of weird desire?
Obsession is always beautiful because beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as the Twilight Zone so cleverly illustrated with the episode “Eye of the Beholder,” but that, too, is a completely different subject altogether.
Some anonymous (and I don’t blame this person for wanting to remain anonymous) twisted mental reject once said: “I’ve never seen a smiling face that wasn’t beautiful”. And then I’m sure that they probably went on to say many more stupid things of the same nature.
To this person (and those of you drinking the same Kool-Aid), I issue the following challenges. Try looking at a policeman as he smiles and laughs while handing you fifty or sixty tickets for this and that and the other thing and then tells you to have a nice day. Or at a judge as he gazes down upon you from his bench and with a grin and a belly laugh sentences you to three or four life sentences in a maxim security prison for jaywalking. Or at a banker as he happily takes away what you hold near and dear for not holding it quite dear enough to actually pay for it. Or, on a less serious note, at the less than lucid face of a deranged (as opposed to one of sound mind) serial killer who has you tied up and at his mercy in an abandoned warehouse miles from where anyone can hear your screams (matter not how loud they may be) for help.
While I’m not so heartless as not to be able to see the beauty in the smile of someone with a broken right out of the box face, I do appreciate the ugly that I have to look upon for an extended period in order to search out said beauty.
Someone else once said: “Beauty may be only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone!”
Unto this person let it be known that I say: . . . . Yep!
