The Religious Freedom Restoration Act your Age Not your I.Q.
4/11/2015 10:22:59 AM

A look at the state of gay rights in Indiana and America in general

Unless you’ve been under a rock or under a bed or in an actual closet you’ve undoubtedly heard about the uproar in Indiana these past couple of weeks over a law called the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which stands oppose to gay marriage in particular and all things gay in general.
Let me tell you something, what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong and what’s stupid is where I come in with my shovel to root out any humor that I can from the naked and afraid truth of the situation.
Bend over and say ah, coz here I come, baby!
Ok; so at the end of March the governor of Indiana (the plain white never toasted bread state) tried to rubberstamp gay rights in the state all the way back to Bedrock, and just when he thought that he had gotten away with it, by golly, wouldn’t you know but his political roof caved-in over his head and drove him through the floor upon which he stood so proudly and into his cellar.
What a damn shame!
The real issue here extends far beyond Indiana and small minded Governor MIKE PENCE (coming soon to a dartboard near you) and his knuckle dragging team of legislatures. The Religious Freedom Restoration Act is hardly a new idea or one of a kind. As a matter of sad fact it has relatives in many other states. Mike the dike (that should offend everybody) just happened to put his name on the wrong document at the wrong time in the wrong place and got blindsided in the process. It almost (not even close) makes you feel sorry for the miserable limp prick. Fuck the f***er - he’s f***ed now!
To be filed under People who you can’t beat senseless, because they’re already there:
Anyone who opposes gay rights straight (Ha!) across the board is clouded in backwards misguided prejudices.
How do you spell religion? I’ll give you a clue - it starts with a b and ends with shit, which (go figure) just happens to be what it’s full of. Still unsure, I’ll give you another clue - it’s the same way that you spell politics.
Politicians on every side of the isle openly hold firm to the political belief that homosexual Americans shouldn’t process rights equal to heterosexual Americans and see nothing wrong with this that they can’t live with.
How nice for them.
How in the land of the free in the modern day do people still find it rational to deny gay people the same basic rights (i.e. the right to suffer through the joys of marriage) and questionable treatment as your average piece of poor society trash (I really can’t say absolute how other people are treated), especially as we now have egghead (as cracked as some of these folks may be, the facts don’t lie) evidence that the condition of homosexually is not simply a lifestyle choice, no more than is the mentally defective condition of being an asshole, but a genuine physical difference.
Matter not upon what core truths any religious order may be based, they are ones that were decided by men of a darker age who took it upon themselves to preach and write down God’s will as they saw fit, and I have no doubt that every last one of them was 100% correct in every aspect, which easily explains all the holy wars.
It’s a classic case of “Who are you gonna believe, me (multiple ancient texts, the most of which don’t agree on much beyond the divine inspiration upon which they were based) or your (scientific) eyes?”
How do you persecute someone in the name of God for being the way that God made them and therefore clearly wants for them to be and truly believe that you’re right and they’re wrong and that God is on your side and not theirs?
The hardcore Christian freak, for example, is more than a little afraid of anyone inflicted with the dreaded gay disease (which is why the Catholic Church recruits so many who process the illness) and the religion does its best to breed fine upstanding citizens who will go out into the world and bash them one way or another in the name of love.
And you know the stick about gay bashers, don’t you? They’re all in the closet, but the problem is that that’s where they keep their weapons - their lines of defense against what they just won’t say.
Give these people a little time on the couch being molested by a qualified therapist and they’ll be alright.
Why should anybody care what consenting adults of whatever gender or genders do with each other or others behind closed doors if nobody gets hurts that don’t want to unless, of course, they don’t use enough lubricant?
It’s important to remember that a little doesn’t always go a long way.
Perhaps these people should ask themselves how they would like it if tomorrow the switch were to be flipped and homosexually was the new respectable lifestyle choice and heterosexually was illegal.“Sorry, Tarzan, no more Jane for you; from now on you can only swing with Fred. You’ll like him, he’s hairy like ape. Have a nice day!”
I read an article awhile ago about this straight as a bent arrow couple who put a whole different spin on the idea of gay marriage. As I recall the husband had been into (and out of and into and out of and into and out of) a good many other guys and the wife had been both captain and shower director of her softball team and then they had met one another in the company of some man of God and together the three of them (A three-way?) had found the cure for homosexuality through the magical love of Jesus Christ.
As in: Jesus Christ, what a load of hogwash!
Here’s the big secret behind this miracle - you can separate a drunk from his drink, but if he spends every waking and sleeping moment from then on longing for and dreaming of it, you haven’t cured him of his addiction, only helped him to manage it to his great dissatisfaction.
The neo Nazi holier than thou types seem to be under the impression that people can catch gay on contact if not on sight or some shit, I don’t know, I don’t suspect that they really do themselves. Mentally speaking, these f***-tarts are still in kindergarten, even though many of them are in power. Ouch! They don’t believe in homosexual practices but they do believe in shoving their barbaric ideals up people’s asses, how does that work?
