A humorous look at the craziness currently surrounding the Confederate flag When a band of twisted rebels clash with a pack of screaming liberals and such inspired people pleasers; it’s all bad, which brings us to what we have here.
When I heard how the Confederate flag was taking the bum rap for a hate crime committed by a deranged kid who looked up to Florida super duper wanna-be trooper George Zimmerman and had read up on recent crime stats instead of Civil War history, I was a little amused but took little notice.
When I heard how Wal-Mart was pulling anything with the Confederate flag on it off their selves, I shook my head.
When one of their stores refused to make a cake with the Confederate flag on it but then had no problem making one of the Isis flag, I smelled a blog.
And when TV Land decided to pull The Dukes of Hazard off the air on account of how the General Lee’s a racist bastard that, as far as we know, drives around with a white sheet with which to cover itself at Klan meetings, a noose, and a stack of wooden crosses/a can of not for drinking gasoline in its trunk, I knew that the nose knew, and on this the week that America sets aside to get together and celebrate its freedom no less.
Now, I never cared a lick about the pride of the south being displayed in their homeland. Hey, they came in second place in the War Between the States, and that’s not half bad, you know. It’s not like they came in third (almost don’t count).
Nor do I hope (not that I really care) that they give a damn about the pirate flag that I fly.
Hell, now I wish that I had a Confederate flag to hang with it.
My hat’s off to those who seriously believe that they can change what they, again seriously (sic.), believe to be the collective mindset of the southland by kicking them in the collective nuts.
What we have here is a powder keg of stupidity waiting to explode.
It’s like the liberals and such inspired people pleasers want for the south to rise up and do it again.
Do what, I never understood.
Lose?
That’s what they did last time?
Hey wait, do they know that? If not, that might explain a few things.
Now if only we could explain away the liberal mindset as easily.
Let your mind turn blank and dream on.
