The Right vs. the Left vs. the Right vs. the Right vs. the Right. . . . 7/18/2015 1:18:00 PM
A look at the race for President In case you haven’t noticed (you lucky so and so) the race to the White House is underway.
Currently on the Left we have Hillary Clinton, a woman who has never stopped running for President, and a couple of other people who have no chance in hell of getting the nomination. Of course Joe Biden, the man who old Barry Obama wanted as his running mate to help discourage people from shooting him while he was in office, could still throw his hat into the ring, and I’m sure that the thought doesn’t keep Hillary up at night. And on the Right we have a string of not pearls (it rhymes with wine, but it ain’t fine).
As the candidates on both sides emerge and come more into focus one blinding fact becomes increasing clear.
We the people need to organize. We need to get together and turn away the vote. Do not vote! If none of them win, all of us do!
Should anyone in the country choose to go ahead and vote anyway just to rebel against the rebels, I’ll give you a clue as to where my loyalties lie, cheat, and steal, and a quick reason to hate me.
I’m proud, damn proud, to be able to say that I was born while Richard Nixon was President!
Old Tricky Dick, now there was a real American President!
I don’t know what this guy that we got in the Oval Office now is.
Hill of beans (and trust me she will give you gas with all her empty promises and sentiments) Rotten Clinton vs. (to name but the most entertaining) Jeb Bush - a Bush and a Clinton going at it, now that’s a new idea; Donald Trump - the hair billionaire whose always stepping in shit and getting his foot stuck in his mouth, who began his presidential bid by pissing off a whole race of people; Chris Christie - he and his bridge too far were out of the race before jumping into it, and this blowhole, like the balloon that he is, will blow away in all the hot air while still trying to take everyone for a ride; Ted Cruz - whose from Texas when he’s not from Canada and is endorsed by the legendary laid back liberal from Detroit Ted Nugent; Scott Walker - the perfect politician, he’s got the looks, the personality, and the ability to stab you in the back before your back is even turned, he can keep right on walking and do so far away, perhaps off a nice cliff; Mike (forgive them Father for they know not who they molest - let’s see how wide we can loop and how tight we can draw and buckle the Bible Belt, the 1950s here we come) Huckabee; Rand Paul - who is able to both keep his feet planted on the ground in Kentucky and his head in outer space; and Marco Rubio - who plays both sides of the fence with Jeb Bush and is sure to ultimately give his endorsement to the candidate with the best showing amongst the people to whom he shares a heritage, that candidate being, of course, Donald Trump.
I don’t know if the country is ready yet to elect another Bush and both Hillary and Bill Clinton make old Dick Nixon look like a choirboy.
Trump has somehow managed to buy his way out of his tailspin and rise like cream or scum (you pick) to the top, but even should he manage to hold onto the lead he will undoubtedly drop out of the race anyway just like he always does, as if anyone needed another reason not to take him seriously.
Cruz might have a fighting chance, he certainly can shoot down brain baked Rev. Huckabee from Aransas, lest we all have to move to Mayberry, and he probably would have a better chance than fellow Texan Jeb Bush of beating the dreaded Hill queen of Aransas, who we need to keep as far away from our capital as possible damn the cost.
