Top Of The Mountain!

Mountain
I'm not shy about pushing my work to the top of the mountain. Not only do I want my writing to be absolutely as good as I can make it, I have lofty goals, including producing major films/movies based on my novels.

This is a struggle, but not in the creative sense. Daily struggles with my stores is actually fun! But it's the overall environment around me that is really difficult.

Most people I encounter seem unconsciously conditioned and accepting of mediocrity. This troubles me; why just accept a marginal situation without trying to improve it?

I have to pose the question in the abstract. If I mention this directly to others, the response is almost universally hostile.

So, I bear the loneliness, sustain my dreams and keep working...
