All about Lilly the Llama, and why the current book, as well as a subsequent sequel is a great teaching tool for children. Lilly the Llama was born a little different than her fellow barn-yard animals. Born with one leg shorter than her other three, Lilly has learned the value of friendship, hard work and believing in yourself. Lilly loves making new friends and has many wonderful lessons in life to teach. In this book, "Lessons in Life from Lilly the Llama, Lilly teaches her young friends how to treat others with respect and care, including the sick and disabled. She also teaches the importance of respecting nature and not bullying.
My goal with this book is to reach out to as many children as possible, teaching them important social skills, including anti-bullying, acceptance & tolerance, respect and self confidence.
