"Johari's Window" is my debut novel, and, once again World Book Night is here! It is spring, cherry blossom season, and the time of year when people are thinking about new beginnings, hope, and the promise of clear skies, and good weather.
Spring is my favorite season because it brings back memories of new love.It also reminds me of Cherry Blossom Time and the romance of this beautiful flower, which has a romantic, confetti-like quality.
My novel features scenes of spring and cherry blossom, which symbolizes the transience of love and life. The poem by the great Pablo Neruda, "Every Day You Play," inspired the scenes of cherry blossom, and the imagery in my book.
