Some days you're the windshield... 7/6/2017 12:38:28 PM
Did ya' ever have those days? The days that, no matter what you do or tell yourself, you just can't get over the top? Every author loves writing...at least I love writing!...but there are days when everything seems to set a roadblock in my path. I'm in treatment for Carcinoid Cancer and today was infusion day. I've become the gal that goes in, gets it done and goes about my business. I wasn't that gal today! I know sometimes we just need to be still and listen to what our bodies are saying and I try to live by that, but I'm also the gal that pushes to the limit...and, sometimes, beyond. Today, I had to be still and listen. I know the next chapter will still be waiting for me tomorrow and that does make me smile! Take care of you! And take time to just be still.
