Wikipedia describes the word "MOVE" as to go in a specified direction or manner; change position or cause to change from one state, opinion, sphere, or activity to another. Now almost everyone says change is good but, right now, I'm of a different mind set. We are in a transition from one home to another...we've not yet found the "other" we're transitioning to...and it's not a happy time for me. I guess when you think of "moving", you just think you're going on with your life in a different place and, to a point, that's true. For me, it's like a little part of my life is over and I'm looking for the place to pick up and start the next part of my life. I wish I could say this house is too small or it's a bad location or it's falling apart...none of which is true...but, the reality is, this move is beyond our control. Maybe that's what makes it not quite so happy and exciting. This wasn't our choice but the mistake of someone else. It's such a feeling of limbo to know you won't be in one place any more but, yet, not know where you're going. If only life had a GPS built in. We just ask it where our next home is and it gives us that sweet blue line from point A to point B and tells us if we need to "reroute" "make a legal U turn" or "proceed to route". But, then, where's the adventure in that?
