Emotions are a weird thing, aren't they? Good, bad, indifferent. People say we need to learn to control our emotions. Is that really possible? Do we control them or do we just categorize them and file them away in some area of our brain where they can't be seen by anyone? It intermingles with that "freedom to choose" thing...we can choose to be angry or choose to let it go. Ok I can get on board with that...mostly. We can choose to forgive but how easy is it to forget? Possible or no? And what about the trust factor? Can that "something" just be forgotten and the trust automatically kicks in again? I'm thinking not! The words that say "it's all good" may come easily but then, I think, we struggle for days and days to live up to what we've said. So, how do we set our minds to function with all that? And the biggest question is why do we call it "mindset" when, most of the time it's a "heartset"?
