Recent Call Re: Book publisher? 11/9/2020 3:11:13 PM
I received an unusual phone call message today from a publisher/marketer in regards to my recent blog. I received a phone message today from a woman who had heard of or seen my work on this site; I don't have any book information, poetry or blogs posted anywhere else. The call came through to my unlisted number not posted anywhere - very strange.
The caller was very difficult to hear and often garbled so the publisher's name or return phone number could not be heard. The woman could not say the word "book" but instead she said "bok." I immediately thought the call must be fraudulent or a phishing attempt. But I would like to give the benefit of the doubt to the caller. She took the time to find my unlisted number and she might be from a foreign nation. If you are that person please contact me through the author's den messages and give me your details.
From my fellow authors I would like to know if you have had direct attempts to contact you especially through your own unlisted phone numbers. Have your calls been similar to mine? Please message me. Thank you.
