First of all, I want to wish everyone a Happy Holidays!
Well, hello everybody, welcome to my new blog! I am not sure where it is heading, but hope you enjoy the ride! Speaking of rides, I traveled 450 light years 5,000 years ago to get here, so if I act a little strange, please forgive me!
I am not sure the trip is worth it, but as they say, "No matter where you go, there you are!"
So, please enjoy this ride, maybe some insights what is going on in my story, "The Binding Volume 1". I have to say, a lot happened in 5,000 years, but unfortunately I don't remember most of it. But here I am today with my traveling companion and best bud, Starman Jim.
Jim, as he became known as Uncle Jim, fancied himself as a "plant whisperer", but I thought him as more of a "fart whisperer". But he is a good guy, I mean after traveling 450 light years together you get to know someone and I found Jim to be a most enjoyable traveling companion.
So, now I find myself in a place called New Orleans 5,000 years after arriving on this planet. Our objective to have us travel so far was for the benefit of all the inhabitants of this small world, but that is for another story. Let's just say sometimes we all need a Little Help From Our Friends and we arrived to provide some assistance, for our new friends as well as for our far away families.
Anyway, back to my story.
Wait just a second, I have to lick my butt, something is not right back there.
Okay, that's better, where was I?
Oh yeah, I recently discovered I was a demi-god in Ancient Egypt called Bastet. If you ever have seen an illustration of a black cat in Egyptian hieroglyphics, that was me! Now, you can imagine how weird it is to wake up and discover you are on Bourbon Street in New Orleans 5,000 years later! Let's just say you are not in Egypt anymore!
Also, I don't apologize for sometimes, if you irritate me enough, I will say "Sniff My Ass!" It's a cat thing you know!
So, my story begins and unfolds in The Binding Volume 1. It is a weird, twisted journey and I hope you join me in the telling of it.
Stay tuned for more of the wisdom from a 5,000 year old black cat with some magical powers. A little smart ass is one of my most enduring traits, at least I think it is.
But most of all, I hope all my friends have a most wonderful 2021!
