Misogyny?...or merely Cuthbert P. Milquetoast's Last Stand??
4/2/2022 4:22:12 PM

A mercifully short broadside of masculine protest against the contemporary American social milieu that is rather alarmingly being subsumed and utterly taken over by hyper-indignant females...so vehemently in fact that you'd think they would rather keep men in guarded compounds for only occasional use as stud material (and that use will likely cease once they figure out how to synthesize 'maleness' artificially, so as to render it socially 'harmless', but still conveniently 'handy').

Misogyny? Or just Cuthbert P. Milquetoast's Last Stand?

I ended up on humorist Garrison Keillor email 'subscription' list some time ago, since I used to greatly enjoy Keillor's ‘Prairie Home Companion' radio show, back before the feminists descended upon him like the hordes of biblical locusts in ancient Aegypt for going a bit farther, giving vent to what exists naturally in men, than they felt was socially (or psycho-sexually) acceptable. Keillor's career was literally uprooted, drawn, quartered and his reputation flayed alive for simply being unacceptably 'old fashioned' in his appreciation for the comely aspects of the female sex. [Hey, I’m a definite biological male and I am strongly drawn to nice T&A as much as any of my XY bros, LoL! Although I’m not a conventionally religious individual, I could have easily qualified that by saying “Heck…God made me this way”, but since I’m not religiously inclined, I won’t.]

Now granted, there's a well-defined line between overt rape and being innocuously 'amorously inclined', but such harshly pejorative behavior by the hysterically hyper-outraged harpies of the feminist leftist liberal progressive persuasion whenever some poor schlemiel loses his perspective and gets a bit too 'frisky', inappropriate to the social setting, is just further evidence to me of the continuing decline of America's traditional social vigor and cultural strength. As has been noted by some social observers, over past decades, if America is becoming ‘excessively civilised’ (read: socio-politically hyper sensitive these days) for our own good, “Churchez la Femme!” QED!

It is coincident but also probably not coincidental that in today's columnar observations, Keillor mentioned Camille Paglia, a most unusual and stunningly unconventional woman (personally, academically and culturally/socially) who, aside from being a respected academic with street-creds up the wazoo, has always been a sharp and outspoken critic of radical feminism...even in the direct face of their most ferocious attacks and social onslaughts, over past decades…and yet always the contextual contradiction, she admires Simone de Bovier, etc., etc., etc.

Now 74 years (BD in 1947), Paglia most interestingly considers herself a 'transactional transgender' person. That is, someone who for most of her life never felt conventionally feminine to the slightest degree. There is, I should here point out, quite a distinct and noteworthy difference between her stance on transgenderism and what the perversely progressive leftist liberal LGBTQ+ radicals define as same. And while I myself totally reject the radical transgender school that wants to FORCE our society to involuntarily socialise children and immature youths into believing that they are not born biological males or females, and institute programs in schools to promote that catastrophically harmful agenda among vulnerable school children, I can readily understand and even be sympathetic to Paglia's sophisticated definition of 'qualified transactional transgenderism'. But then, Paglia is an amazing woman.

At any rate, I just wanted to introduce you all to Camille Paglia if you are not already familiar with who and what she is, since one of my pet theories on American social 'devolution' proposes that America's traditional, courageously masculine nature has been under serious attack by the extremes of feminist philosophy since the days when America's 'West' was still a hard-bitten, rough & ready frontier. That ongoing assault on male influence in modern America has had numerous (and in my opinion catastrophic) adverse consequences, not least of them being that today, when we MOST need strong, decisive and courageous leaders in our nation (to stand up to the likes of Russia's new Tsar Vlad 'the impaler' Ras-putin, et al, among other things), we are instead saddled with ineffectual, woosey (in the case of Joe Biden, indecisive and even senescent...), grossly ineffectual individuals who couldn't make a courageous statement or take a strong stand on something if their lives depended upon it.

I don’t know if you’ve ever noticed it, but in today’s modern America, women have literally taken over certain arenas and theatres of American social discourse and interaction almost completely. Particularly flagrant examples to illustrate my point include social media, commercial broadcast media (ever noticed how these days our national media network news has taken on such a semi-hysterical emotionalism in its delivery?..its because almost all the local and national anchors and reports are women, usually YOUNG women who each day literally wallow in excessively emotional stories intended to produce teary-eyed credulity in viewers…OH! The Humanity!, etc.) and many, many other venues wherein interpretations of current events have taken on a peculiarly female expression. [e.g. Let a local news anchor stumble across a story involving ‘Moms’ (one of my favorite cliché words….whatever happened to the less emotional term ‘mothers’, which is far less sob-worthy?) and babies and they typically have a Chernobyl-type field-day spinning the story out; is the object to push the ‘emotions’ button on all the viewing, fecund females in the viewing audience? D’ya think?!]

Of course, hyper-emotionalism is a deliberately exploited dynamic used by commercial media corporations to boost viewer audiences and promulgate very specific, narrowly defined socio-political agendas (which usually trace their origins back to our society’s traditional American Yankee, hard-edged profit-making motive, of course), since today’s mega-corporate news organisations are all owned by highly politically polarised (almost invariably left-of-center) entities. It's also a reliably effective gimmick for advertising and marketing campaign applications, since women are increasingly being 'plugged' into television advertising 'messages'. But I digress.

The encroachment and injection of female, hormonally-supercharged emotional volatility into our American affairs has (by women), by and large, turned America into a nation of weepy, smarmy, constantly cranky, hyper-critical and constantly outraged ‘old wives’ (hello, Nancy Pelosi)…at a time when we least need such constant second-guessing and introspective, semi-schizophrenic soul-searching and MORE decisive, masculine, no-nonsense action along the John Wayne line.

In his own isolated, semi-deluded and informationally detached way, Russia’s Putin knows this and is likely chuckling to himself (and his strategic political buddy Xi ‘Pooh Bear’ Jinping) every time he makes ever more outrageous demands, only to witness our (American) reticence to stand toe-to-toe with him and speak the only language he unquestionably understands (blunt and equally forceful direct action…well short of a threat to cauterize Russia with a preemptive nuclear strike, that is). Putin is, of course, a master chess player (even if he’s grossly misinformed about the progress of his mad campaign against the Ukraine, thanks to weak-willed sycophantic generals and military advisors who justifiably fear for their lives if they ‘displease’ the new Tsar by being candid and unequivocal in their advisory inputs) and Biden, by contrast can’t even play a decent game of checkers. You don’t need to be a professional gambler who is used to analysing the odds dispassionately and making bets accordingly to instantly get an accurate impression of who’s on top of the game, here, and who isn’t.

But to return to Camille Paglia, here is a biologically-born female who is amazingly astute, intellectually on-fire and brilliantly analytical in her thought processes, who deserves a closer look. Interestingly, she is not an isolated anomaly, as there are handfuls of her kind scattered here and there throughout the extant American socio-political colloquy…one merely needs to drill down a bit deeper into our aesthetic and intellectual strata to uncover them. As it is, the hysterically radical, WHITE leftist liberal progressive feminists who are currently driving just about every far-left agenda in this nation (from ‘critical race theory’ to transgenderism as a religion in our schools, fer crissakes!) have done their damnedest to pretend that Paglia and others like her (who don’t lack the ability to stand up against feminist outrages) simply do not exist. ‘Cancel-culture’ excessiveness at its highest level of the game.

There are, by the way, exactly 1339 words (I counted ‘em…or rather, my MS/WORD program did) in this little impromptu broadside of mine. Bully for you if you managed to wade through it all before deleting or checking your other emails this AM. My final message here is this: be aware, always, and keep an open mind. Or as Garrison Keillor puts it (it’s almost his signature sign-off), “Be well, do good work and keep in touch (but, er, perhaps not THAT kind of 'touch'!)”

And next time you watch the local or national media news (or any televised video program or advertisement), be mindful of the heavy-handed ‘female’ influence in reference at work, keeping you in a constant state of emotional arousal…

Note:

This uncharacteristically short blog segment here began as a private communication to a few of my fellow MCP (Male Cauvinist Pig) friends (oink-oink), but I decided to toss prudent caution to the winds and throw it out there to a mixed gender audience, well mindful of the fact that this is not unlike opening the Gates of Hades and turning the Devils own Hellhounds loose! [I am reminded that Willie Shakespeare has already used a variant of that choice line in his plays. To wit: "Cry HAVOC and loose the dogs of war!"]

To that end, I am virtually hunkered down in my blast-proof bunker, helmet on and body armor carefully ajusted to withstand APHA (Armor Piercing Hysterical Assaults) incoming fire! [However, if wimmin have also mastered hypersonic missile technology, my goose is definitely cooked...]

That said, neener-neener-neener! Sticks and stones may, etc., etc.
