Mac’s Moments – Entitled Dog

When the dog rules the house, it comes with complaints.
Hello to all,

I have a problem brought on by my own actions or the lack thereof. Our entitled dog, Queen Ginger, the self-proclaimed royalty of our home, has given me the cold, furry shoulder for the past couple of weeks. I wrote a blog referencing her antics last year. The only thing worse than writing unflattering comments about her is ignoring her completely. The following is the rant from our entitled dog:

The boorish author of many lies told about me has failed to mention me for many months while continuing to disregard the importance of my presence in the house. I keep a vigil on the neighborhood for evil entering our yard to cause harm to my family. White, blue, and brown trucks frequently stop within the danger zone of our house, and I warn them to stay away while alerting my subjects to prepare for the impending doom, organizing to settle on the house.

A while ago, I chased off the large yellow bus stopping in front of our house to drop off little gremlins, seeking to disrupt the tranquility of my throne. Two weeks ago, this yellow device of calamity returned, releasing even larger hoodlums from its bowels. The gray-haired old fool yelled at me, "They are the neighbor’s kids coming home from school." He refuses to see the clear and present danger that my royal appointment allows me to see. One day, he will understand my plight when they turn aggressively to my home, but I will defend his hapless self.

In return for twelve selfless years of my gentle and fair ruling over the house, my surf still insists on cheating me out of my dues. Under my lengthy reign, no evil has harmed my family, yet he persists on partial cookies as my last pee-pee treat. Despite the billions of fans telling him not to break my cookies in half, this cold-hearted man now breaks them into thirds or smaller quarter-size pieces. He tries to claim that Mom bought larger cookies this time, but we all know he is just a cheap old man trying to save his last penny and insult me.
