The Season No One Talks About

There is a space in leadership that does not get talked about enough.

It is the space where you know what you are called to do…
You have done the work…
You have built something real…

And yet, the provision has not fully caught up.

It is not confusion.
It is not a lack of effort.
And it is not a loss of faith.

It is the space in between.  

When Capacity Outpaces Results

As leaders, we are taught to measure progress by outcomes — clients gained, revenue generated, doors opened.

But what do you do when your capacity has grown…
your discipline has sharpened…
your obedience has been consistent…

And the visible return still feels delayed?

This is where many begin to question themselves.

But I have learned this:

This is not the season where you question your calling.
This is the season where your calling is being refined.  

The Purpose of the Stretch

Yah does not build capacity without intention.

When He increases your ability, your vision, and your discipline,
He is not preparing you for where you are —
He is preparing you for what is coming.

And preparation rarely feels comfortable.

Sometimes it feels like silence.
Sometimes it feels like stretching.
And sometimes it feels like you are carrying more than you can yet see the return for.

But this space is not empty.

It is active. 

Leading While You Wait

Here is what I had to learn in this season:

I can continue to lead — even when I feel the weight.
I can continue to serve — even when I desire rest.
And I can continue to build — without forcing what is not yet time.

Because waiting is not passive.

Waiting is disciplined alignment.

It is choosing not to panic.
It is choosing not to shrink.
It is choosing not to abandon what Yah has already confirmed.  

A Word for Leaders in This Space

If you are here — in this in-between — hear this clearly:

You are not behind.
You are not overlooked.
And you are not building in vain.

You are in preparation.

And preparation requires a different kind of strength —
not the strength to push harder,
but the strength to remain steady. 

A Word From Experience

This season required me to look at leadership differently.

Not just as execution — but as endurance.
Not just as growth — but as trust.

I had to learn that provision does not always arrive when expected…
but it does arrive when alignment is sustained.

And I had to learn that faith is not proven when things are easy — it is revealed when things are steady, quiet, and still unfolding.

Not everything delayed is denied—some things are being aligned. 

Takeaway

There is a difference between being stuck…
and being prepared.

This is not the season where you force outcomes.
This is the season where you strengthen your foundation.

Stay aligned.
Stay disciplined.
Stay rooted in what Yah has already spoken.

Because the space between calling and provision…

is where leaders are truly formed. 

And above all… 

May our feet remain where Yah can bless us!
