Your Circle Reflects Your Calling

As we grow in leadership, the relationships around us do more than support our journey — they shape it.

The people we allow into our space influence our clarity, our pace, our confidence, and even our courage.

And as I continue to evolve, I understand this more clearly:

Your circle is not just social.
It is strategic.

Not everyone who admires your purpose is assigned to your path.
Not everyone who applauds your work is equipped to walk beside you.
And certainly .not every familiar face belongs in every new season.

Some people are part of your history.
Some are part of your growth.
Some are part of your pruning.
And some are part of your elevation. 

The Role of Every Relationship

Yah does not waste connection — even when the connection changes.

Some people sharpen you.
Some stretch you.
Some teach you boundaries.
And some reveal what alignment is not.

Every relationship carries a purpose —
even the temporary ones,
even the difficult ones,
even the ones that required you to step away.

Discernment is knowing the difference between loyalty and limitation. 

When Purpose Refines Your Circle

Here is what I have learned in this season:

The relationships assigned by Yah bring clarity, not confusion.
They push you, without draining you.
They challenge you, without compromising you.

And even when the relationship shifts, all the lessons remain.

Some people walk with you.
Some watch you.
Some teach you.
And some move you forward.

But here is the kicker: all of them serve a purpose. 

Reflection for Leaders

Ask yourself honestly:

Is this relationship aligned with where Yah is taking me next?

Sometimes the answer is yes.
And sometimes the answer is no.
And sometimes – and be okay with this – the answer is not anymore.

Wisdom is recognizing that release is not rejection —
it is refinement. 

A Word From Experience

This past season sharpened my discernment in a way that no leadership book ever could.

I learned that honoring Yah includes protecting the peace He entrusted to me.
I learned that boundaries are not walls — they are wisdom.
And I learned that when Yah shifts your circle, He is strengthening your future.

I can remain kind without becoming naïve.
I can remain open without remaining unguarded.
And I can continue to lead with grace — even as relationships change.

Because alignment is not optional.
It is necessary.
