I never read blogs as I have never wrote one and today was just going over the blog page and seen yours .Oh my as I honestly do not know the right words to say in such a touching situation Except you are so dear to us all and a true special friend in the Den and I hope that all turns out alright as this is so sad to hear and I will sure be praying for you my dear friend .

Christine as I read this I come to realize how much you have become a part of our Den family and as a member I think I speak for all to say we are uniting to send you our prayers and love for healing of your grief and a positive report on Tuesday. My mother approached a lump the same way until she talked to my aunt who told her that she had had several removed. That was about twenty years ago.

My aunt died about three years ago, but not of cancer. My mother is still l alive, but not entirely well. Cancer that killed her mother is far from her mind.

it is like being caught by the approaching tidal bore in the Bay of Fundy -- a feeling of despair overwhelms the senses and the psyche shudders with indecision and abject fear -- assessments rush through our minds -- at last peace invades us as we evaluate our vulnerabilities, experiences we wish had not transpired -- them we slowly move to a place where there is calm and we are comforted -- I too have visited this place, more than once -- faith is the most powerful ally -- my prayers go with you Christine -- Jon Michael

Indy,
You have the love and support you need to let go for a few days and renew your source. We will provide the prayers and do the worrying for you for now, so maybe a little meditation, a nice walk in nature or one on one talk with Christine is in order. Stress is a real chaos maker and you are strong enough to breathe deep and push it away for a few days. Our fears and worries will always wait for us to pick them up again, like a loyal pet ! We have your back, go find the best music you know and have a conversation. We all love you here. Feel it. :-)

Of course you are scared. Who wouldn't be? But by reading your words in this blog I am impressed with how well you are dealing with it, even though you might not think you are. You have humor. Forced? I don't know, but still you "think" humor.

Three years ago my daughter had to go through the same procedure you are going to go through. She isn't as eloquent as you when it comes to expressing herself, and she had a pretty bad time of the "waiting to get it done" part. The tests came back negative, and I have a feeling your will also.

It is the waiting. I know. The day after tomorrow it will be over, and then the wait for results, or hopefully they can tell you right then. I doubt it, but hopefully they can.

I'll be thinking of you Tuesday, Christine, and keeping my fingers crossed. I don't pray, but I have a lot of confidence in crossed fingers.
