Hi. I'm Janna Hill. The Real Janna Hill. @ www.TheRealJannaHill.com The official biography goes something like: "Janna Hill is an  author of fiction, short stories and poetry. She spent most of her career as a licensed nurse before dabbling behind the literary scenes as a ghostwriter." Or,  Janna resides somewhere between the pines and the palm trees where her motto is, "Fans are just friends and family I haven’t met… or wrote about yet." ™ The truth is: I am Texas born and bred. I was a licensed nurse,  a wife & a mother before embarking on this journey; happily I am still all of the aforementioned though I no longer triangulate my identity according to those few facts. I can imagine so many more descriptive terms now that might say who or what I am, far too many to mention. But today ... I am a writer. Writing through life one word at a time. ™  If one could give words to a stone that the stone might speak... The things I write about are not always from my own experiences but what I perceive in others as well and some of it... I honestly don't know why it flies through my head but it's like an energy that must be loosed and the only way I know to let it go is to jot it down. Pain, change and joy - these are the greatest motivators I know.

I am a little uncomfortable over using “I” but so far…
I have written (and published) a paranormal series, the Clan Destiny series which includes four books. Between the Rage and Grace is book one, Behind the Rage book two, Unjustified Favor third and Cloud Wrangler is the fourth book. Book four was really fun because my young grandson helped me imagine a new character. Of course I could only let him input and read a few chapters because of the adult rating.
I have a dozen or more short stories published and many available as an audio book.
A couple of books of poetry that were combined into one collection, Getting Me Back (The Voices Within). Many of the latter poetry and prose were written during a period in my life I often refer to as being “bat shit crazy”. Writing and sharing that anger, pain, guilt and depression literally healed me.
Also I ventured into cover creation which is quite satisfying.
And lastly (and probably more important) I have helped new authors conquer the maze of self publishing and cover creation, and made a few new friends along the way.
