I like what you express and having seen you play I know you feel your music, you aren't just reading notes. (but men are not the only one's who can add and subtract...really???)

Christine, I don't know if you are still 'greiving' or just trying to understand what you feel...and why you feel the way you do. Your music talks to you which means you 'feel' it.

We haven't seen you and your very beautiful poetry in quite awhile for when you write you show us your emotions and that means you are very much alive...We all love you,Christine!

At first, I was confused by what you wrote, but I believe your title says it all... the body isn't what you are thinking and feeling with, but rather your soul inside. I believe that when we place our spirit or soul's emotions above that of the baser body feelings then we are able to draw closer to God, to those things that really matter, to the eternal spark that lies within us all... We are able to communicate on a different plane because we are communicating spirit to spirit rather than body to body. To me, that is why I feel a closeness to those who have passed on... they can't speak body to body with me, because they no longer have a body, but their spirit goes on forever. We can still communicate spirit to spirit. And, that is why the Holy Spirit can touch our hearts/spirits.
Call it what you will...but I would trust my instincts, gut reaction, inspiration, heart-felt emotions any day over the logic of even my own mind.

Intuitions, impressions, feelings ... So important - so draining. And when someone/thing discovers (what they construe as) any vulnerability they can become so easily manipulated. These thoughts do take on a kind of logic, to me, CT, considering that you are a cellist and drawn to the aesthetic. As I see it ... when you express through the cello you hold it close and interact with it from both your intellect, and, from your heart. You 'feel' it with your whole being. As the instrument 'speaks' it vibrates through your whole body, not only to willing and eager ears, but also to the universe as well. The closer you get to your Creator, and the more His Holy Spirit works/speaks through you, the more discerning and vulnerable you will 'feel'. For me, you get to a place where you realize that each beat of your heart and breath is a gift. I commend you for such a revealing write. Operate in these gifts you've been given, pray unceasingly, and trust your Creator to guide you. Love. blessings, and wellness ... richard

Christine, the human experience is a total experience that utilizes all of the human senses, sight, sound, touch, smell and taste. Those sensory perceptions are vital inputs to our creative being, and should never be overlooked or discounted as ineffectual or unimportant to any human experience. Chrisine, bingo, I am exactly the same way....I feel it, I sweat it, our body responds to many things we can't explain..don't ever be frustrated it just shows you 'feel' :)

Feels good to say it out loud I'll bet! And I heard every single well thought out word....Personally I trust my instincts more than I'd ever trust any damned book that tells me how I should feel...or perceive what's around me....

I find this write of yours, Christine, absolutely fascinating in every single way. I understand what you are saying and the sensation of which you speak. Like you, I have often wished for logic and practicality; I admire the Spock character in the new Star Trek....that self control and waving away of 'emotion.' However, I believe in these instincts and 'body talk,' and can give you an example. There is a YouTube video of Michael Henry and Justin Robinett singing "Hallelujah" and it spoke to the cells in my body so clearly that I received a shiver from head to toe each time I heard this song. It was like when brandy runs the circuitry and 'fizzes' your awareness. It was nothing I did, it just happened. And when you go with something that seems illogical, simply because it 'feels' right. It likely IS right. Our bodies talk to us. Our cells speak. It is really very cool :) Be happy you hear it** ~~ Diana

This is a crystalization of some of what I now realize I have been trying to say in poems and stories. You do it brilliantly and I have learned from it. I am a refugee from the left brain and feeling more within the body.

I'm very tired. This is my third day of editing my novel, but I will attempt to deal with your problem (if is really is a problem). I'm a guy, and although I know guys and gals are supposed to think differently (I agree we do), but in my experience I have never considered myself as a "data-driven-left-brained-male-dominated male.

I'm sorry Christine, I should not have attempted to comment on this, I spent thirteen grueling hours editing the book and now I am half through with my first glass of cheap California burgundy, so I will just leave my comments such as they were and say goodnight. Sorry.
