One for the transgender (as man made them). I view any attempts at over-riding one’s birth sex as abhorrent, a sacrilege against the structures of maleness or femaleness created by God, and ultimately a rebellion against the Creator who made our bodies. Wonderful! Beautifully written. If one doesn't know a child (or adult) who experiences gender ambiguity, it can be very difficult to understand what they're going through. Whether there is understanding or not, though, I think we can all agree that all people should be treated with dignity and respect.

Thank you for your courageous and well-written stance on this issue. I don't fully understand the ramifications of the problem but I honor the need to protect transgender people from abuse by those who would treat them badly or something they have no control over. Unfortunately, many people, like Jerry seemed to be ill informed when it comes to what has always been a problem for children. The right to choose is at stake in many areas. Why should government decide? Isn't that freedom, too?

Christine, I admire you passionately. But in my opinion the educational system has promoted the transgender agenda. Children who are the most vulnerable are actually brainwashed concerning lifestyle, and the, obligingly succumb to it and and declare their preference for the alternative lifestyle because of the pressure they are pressured into. My opinion, Christine, but I feel I am more right than wrong. |
